It was celebrationtime in central London as Eaton Square Senior and Sixth’s first cohort of A Level students received their A Level results, with over half of all grades being awarded A* to B.
Head Dr Adrian Rainbow said ‘We are all thrilled that our first set of A Levels not only show that our students’ commitment and hard work has been rewarded but highlight the breadth of our offer. We saw particularly strong results in Art, English, Economics, and Business which is a testament to our ability to play to the strengths and interests of each individual student.
‘This is exemplified by the wide range of courses our students will move on to, including Fine Art, Aviation, Accountancy, Law, Business Management, International Relations, Computer Science and Digital Innovation at universities such as Bristol, Surrey, Reading, Westminster, Royal Holloway, and Bath.
‘Our first cohort has set the bar high with an exemplary range of university offers and most students securing their first-choice offer. Ultimately, we always say that grades are just part of the journey, and the true measure of A Level success is that each student gave their best and developed in much more profound ways: showing character, commitment, creativity, compassion and resilience. In terms of developing these ‘soft skills’, this cohort of students excelled, and I am so proud of them.’
