Caedon recently sailed to victory at the Royal Yachting Association’s Regional Junior Championships. As one of 1,200 sailors taking part from across the UK (and, at only 9 years old, one of the youngest), Caedon raced his single handed, RS Tera Sport dinghy ‘Magical Marvel’ in six races across two days. Packing in a series of race wins, he took the overall win by a clear 6 points and was awarded his gold medal by Olympic female, 49erFX super star, Saskia Tidey. Caedon is now gearing up for the Independent Schools Association Regatta and has been selected for the Hayling Island Sailing Club Optimist Gold Squad.

Ingaela, Caedon’s four year old sister, became the youngest sailor to compete in the global Bart’s Bash Race: an inspirational event commemorating Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE. She has also already completed her Royal Yachting Association sailing Levels 1 and 2 and is on track for Level 3.
