Year 4 had an incredible time at Hampton Court Palace. They spent their day looking around the different rooms and studying the ornate ceilings. They were given audio guides to understand how the kitchens worked in Hampton Court and were fascinated at the thought that King Henry VIII himself roamed the very rooms that they were in! They learnt about the types of foods that were eaten during the Tudor period and the types of clothes that were worn by both royalty and palace workers.
